My name is Simone Lenssen. I was born in 1956 and grew up in the eastern mining region of South Limburg.

By nature I am intelligent, sensitive and temperamentful, and I have developed these qualities into becoming a passionate, dedicated and committed child and adolescent psychotherapist and systemic therapist (NVRG registration number 198407). Over the past 38 years, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, young adults and adults, together with their significant others.

I am trained in a client-centred approach, in which empathy and trust in your innate capacity for recovery and resilience are central. I aim to nurture these qualities in a way that suits you. I bring my experience, knowledge and expertise into the therapeutic process and work together with you to explore your personal story and understand why the difficulties you experience have developed. Where appropriate, I also draw professionally on my own lived experience.
